Business as Usual

My day started at exactly 8am! I threw on some music and worked out for an hour. I rolled up a blunt after my shower and started working.

I accomplished a lot. I finalized the outline for my next 2 mixtapes, wrote 2 songs, and came up with a hook for another. I'm very excited about the one CD cuz it's gonna be all commercial. Meaning every song is like a party! This by far is the most challenging CD of all for me, simply because I'm a straight dude. I usually talk about things I've seen or done, but this CD I got to show the wild & fun side of me.The other one I'm working on is me doing what I do best, that's setting fire to the tracks and melt them down!

Also, I went through a few tracks that people sent to my email. There was a couple good joints in there worth using. The other ones weren't my type of flavor. I submitted a few songs for a few projects, jus waiting on the word wit that!

I gotta plan a photo shoot sometime next week. Five more people have been added to my network, so definitely looking forward to linking up with them. I'm always down to collab with new people. I like sharing ideas wit people that be on the same page as me.

Checked out my ReverbNation page and I am currently #6 on the Rap Charts in my area! I have been consistent at stayin in the top 10 since December 2011. I plan on being #1 by the end of summer.

Long-Slow Day

*lights up a blunt*

Monday's are the worst days to me! Especially after a long, busy weekend. I usually sleep a lil later and move a lil slower. It's very rare that I get an early start on music. And that usually results in an unproductive day, song wise! But I still network and have phone conferences, plus make plans, so it's not a total waste!

*takes a puff*

I got some pretty good news today, my peoples in Connecticut called me letting me know, there are a few people interested in my music. I'm always happy to hear that! I put a lot of work in on making my music come out the way I want it to. When you vision a song before it's done, then it comes out exactly how you want, if not better. Then you know, you doin' something right! But I'll keep you posted on that situation.

*smokes*

I also wrote a video treatment for the up and coming single I'm about to release. I had a few meetings wit a few directors. I'm real big on the one guy from Charlotte, his work is def industry ready. But I also like the guy from Wilmington. So, we'll see wut happens wit that as well! I'm in the process of finding a tour or showcase to be a part of. So, if you hear anything, let me know!

*smokes*

My man down in ATL hit me up also. He puttin heavy work in! A few big name rappers is currently buyin' a few of his beats. That's gonna be a mean plug. Bounce up in Jersey handlin' bizz! He was recently in a #CokeBoys video. S/O to Big Heffy! Like we def on our grind! We jus need a couple more dollars and the right ears to hear it!

A Dream

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be a rapper/entertainer.

Growing up, I can remember holding a hair brush, using is as a microphone, as I sung along to Eric B. & Rakim's "Microphone Fiend" and "Pain in Full"! I would watch Fab 5 Freddy on Yo MTV Raps every single chance I got! As I grew older, the more serious I became. It was becoming more like a way of life for me.

I went from beat boxing to writing down little phrases. I would walk around singin' my lil phrase, you could not tell me I wasn't HOT! Lol.

My mom took me to my very first concert and I loved every minute of it. We went to see TLC, MC-Hammer, and Boyz 2 Men at the Walnut Creek Ampitheater in NC! The moment the show started I was studying the moves and the energy all the artists put forth. I was absolutely blown away by MC-Hammer's performance. His entrance, his energy, everybody was in sync with one another as they did the dance routines. The crowd was going bananas and the place was full of electricity, as he did HIT after HIT! The whole time, I was just thinking that could be me!

When the show was over, I left with one thing on my mind. And that was to perform in front of the biggest crowd possible and put on a show!

I had so many dreams and visions of being on top with some of the biggest names in rap! Visions of me putting on the best show possible, night in and night out. Supplying so much energy to the crowd, that it would fill the place with electricity, just like Hammer did. Just hearing the crowd go wild and chant my name, that would mean the most!

Dreams and visions like that are the reason that I will never stop persuing my goals to be the BEST RAPPER/ENTERTAINER that I can be!
